  • Staff employment records are retained for a minimum of six years after employment ends
  • Unsuccessful job applications are retained for six months then securely destroyed
  • Financial records are retained for seven years in accordance with tax and accounting requirements

When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or destroyed.


10. Your Rights

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure — to ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances
