St George’s Preparatory School is seeking a highly organised, professional and personable Office Administrator to join our busy and welcoming School Office.

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of school life, providing essential administrative support to the Office Manager, staff, pupils and parents while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service. From supporting admissions, attendance and school communications to coordinating events and acting as a key point of contact for our school community, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a thriving and vibrant preparatory school. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and follow our safeguarding procedures. The successful candidate must be able to satisfy an enhanced clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS).

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Friday 9th October and invited to attend an interview on Tuesday 13th October.

Following the interview process, a conditional offer of employment will be made to the successful candidate. Any offer will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and the completion of all required pre-employment and safeguarding checks.

The successful candidate is expected to commence employment on Monday 30th November 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
